having fun NOT studying :-\

i pretty much have the cutest nephew ever :-) he makes me smile my face off... haha. i don't know what that means...

this was taken during one of those 3 trips we had to make to Abilene a few weeks ago for Mimi's funeral and that stuff... anyway, Preston was NOT a happy camper the whole time. It's a good think I love that kid cause he was screaming basically the whole way home that wednesday that Mimi passed away. How awesome is it thought that God allowed him to fall asleep during the time that she passed away? I thought that was nice of God to do :-D

yeah... he's talking on the cell phone, having the time of his life. i cannot wait for Caprice to get here! i just got really excited about that!

Hey friends :-) it's finally the weekend. I'm about to go to austin with my friends... that will be fun! i'll post pics sometime. haha, we're gonna have a blast!

hey friends. i was at church this morning at university baptist church (ubc) in waco when all of the sudden the pastor was shocked electrically during a baptism. he was taken in an ambulance to a nearby hospital, but he passed away. Kyle Lake had a wife and three young kids. please be praying for his family and the ubc church.

so this is the other day when i went to wash my clothes at kris and wendi's. of course, i played with the p-man! he's so goofy... he put those things around his neck and was running around the yard having the time of his life! hahaha... so much fun! i love that kid :-) in the pic with me in it, he kept smiling, then right when i would click the button to take the pic, he would close his mouth! oh, preston... what a tease! hahaha... isn't he just so cute?! i can't get enough!!!

these 3 people (... i'm not including myself) were such an encouragement to me this past weekend. I'm blessed to have met them.  Thank you God!

i just saw the funniest thing... i was just walking back into beall (where i live) and saw a squirrel on the ground. when i walked by it, i guess it got really scared because it sprawled out on its belly-- with limbs spread out, too, and it was shaking... i thought it was SO funny cause it was just looking at me like it was wondering if i knew it existed and acting like it was dead! hahahahahaha... i hope that was a funny story and not one of those, i guess you had to be there ones.

i took this picture while i was sitting on the front porch talking with my parents during one of the many lightning storms this summer. i miss those nights.

it amazes me how people become so different. i'm so glad that i'm studying psychology here at the mary hardin. i had a test today in abnormal psych... meh. we'll see how that goes. i want to start memorizing scripture. i've always been like, "well it's really hard for me to memorize... you just don't understand." bull.

today dr. kemp said, "if i were to give you $1,000 for ever verse you memorized for a week..." basically, what would we do? that was really clear to me. memorize. it may be something i will struggle with... it may take a while for me to get one verse memorized, but i need to do it. it will help me grow. i feel it is necessary for me to do.

well, that's about it for the day.

so, it's friday and i'm excited. i totally forgot that i had this blog until brooke made one... then i was like, wow. i have one of those. meh... anywho, it's taking me a while to figure this out cause it's not as easy as xanga ;-) well... i guess i'll be more creative later. peace out
